The Ireland Cancer Center is the only cancer program in Northern Ohio awarded the National Cancer Institute’s highest designation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. This elite status makes the Cancer Center one of only 32 centers in America to earn this prestigious award for extraordinary advances in cancer research and patient care.

The ICC serves more than 5000 patients annually and conducts a number of clinical trials in order to find new and better ways to treat patients. In addition to its excellence in medical research and treatment, ICC provides a full range of support services including social work, occupational and physical therapy, music and art therapy, pastoral care, and specialized nutrition counseling to ensure patients’ emotional and spiritual health.
